Benefit I would receive being a Kna during the Last Judgment?"
I saw your open mail to our Mr. Sajan Mathew and thought that I should air my opinion without prejudices.. I am quoting you here under and attempting to answer your query as best from my understanding of HIS ways..
You said....
1. "Can you please help me to understand what benefit I would receive being a Kna during the Last Judgment?"
2. "My understanding was being a good Christian would make me eligible for His Kingdom. Please advise".
Knanaya, are the chosen 72 from amongst the chosen children of Israel from time to time (means direct descendants of Jacob who was named Israel by God himself and not necessarily citizens of the present day State of Israel).. Therefore our responsibility as a Knanaya, is also very huge..
Every human being as he is born, the Word of God is imbibed in him as he is part of the universal soul.. As a Jeev Athma, he is very much a part of the Param Athma.. But the Word of God is dormant in him until it is lit in him and he is enlightened..
As the chosen ones from amongst the chosen children of Israel, the Knanaya people are the enlightened lamps with the Word Of God active within them.. It is our responsibility to make the rest of the world to feel the presence of the Lord, our God within them by awakening the fire within them, no matter what religion they belong to, Jew, Hindu, Muslim, Christian whatever.. Knanaya is about true spirituality more than any one religion..
"Thy Kingdom come and Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven" is our prayer.. It is our responsibility to take the leadership in its fulfillment..
You are selected in the womb itself as a Knanaya meaning Theekshnavan or Erivukaran in HIS ways to fulfill this responsibility bestowed upon you.. You are selected to make His Kingdom happen in this world so that the rest of the world also become eligible for His Kingdom.. Therefore it is not for us, the Knanaya people to think of the benefit that we alone would receive as a Kna during the Last Judgment.. The world is eligible for us..
Bible to us, the Old Testament is our direct History and the New Testament is our codded History & Traditions and it is also the written Word of God.. When we read the Book, the Bible, it only helps bring out the Word of God from within you, enhanced by the understanding of your History & Traditions given there in..
Because it is accepted by all the Catholic (Katholika Sabha) or otherwise its Synonym the Universal Church that its Theology is based on the Holy Bible but not limited in Bible..
One can learn the Bible, word by word but one cannot learn the Word of God or understand it without having HIS real presence within oneself, the true spiritual self, through any which religion, no matter..
